Great place to stay for fishing trips. Cheap clean and great owner. You might get lucky and stay there while some of the best crappie fisherman in the world have been known to stay there. Word has it Rod Moore has been staying here for over 30 years. He is truly one of the best in the world.
Right on the edge of town close to the lake older motel but very clean and the price is acceptable friendly staff
The owner of #8 Motel is very respectful, and handle business the right way. Clean rooms, cold ac unit, stove, refrigerator, shower, cable and wifi all work. The manager of the property is great at his job as well. The morning after a bad storm shut the power off and wifi, he replaced the wifi router and is currently working on fixing the cable in my room. Couldn't ask for better service. Not to mention the people that stay here are all pretty chill. This one dude gave me some vodka my first night here.
